Lightly reinforced domestic slabs are commonly poured at M20 (1 : 1.5 : 3) over a well-prepared, compacted base.
Recommended mix
1 : 1.5 : 3cement : sand : aggregate
M20 nominal concrete — about 2,900 psi (20 MPa).

A workhorse structural nominal mix. Widely used for driveways, strip footings and lightly reinforced domestic slabs. Highest nominal mix commonly batched by volume.
