Setting a fence post needs only a general M15 (1 : 2 : 4) mix in the hole; many use a bagged fast-setting post mix for speed.

1 : 2 : 4cement : sand : aggregate
M15 nominal concrete — about 2,175 psi (15 MPa).

Why this mix
The classic 1:2:4 general-purpose mix. Fine for domestic paths, patios and non-structural slabs on well-prepared ground.
